Natalia Bârlădeanu wins world acting championship at age 10

Natalia Bârlădeanu, a 10-year-old from Focșani, Romania, has been named the Overall World Champion in Acting at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2026 in Las Vegas. Bârlădeanu achieved a perfect score of 100/100 from the ten-member international jury, earning the Gold Plaque distinction.

In addition to her acting title, she was named World Champion in the Vocal category for the 8–10 age group. Her achievements include one gold medal in acting and three silver medals in vocal competitions. She was also one of only three Junior Vocal contestants selected for the Showcase of Champions grand finale.

Following her performance, Bârlădeanu received a training scholarship from the New York Film Academy. She has also been included in the “100 Young People for the Development of Romania” campaign, an initiative by the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania to support high-achieving youth.
