Natalia Grzyb wins gold at Polish Para-Badminton Championships

Natalia Grzyb, an athlete from LUKS Jedynka Częstochowa, won the gold medal in the WH-1 singles category at the Open Polish Para-Badminton Championships held in Zakopane. This victory allows her to reclaim the national title she lost last year.

Grzyb also secured a silver medal in the mixed doubles category alongside partner Adrian Sępiński. The pair defeated an Austrian-Czech duo in the semifinals to reach the final.

Coach and club president Paweł Wiśniewski noted that the athlete is currently ranked 7th in the world. The team is focusing on preparations for the upcoming pre-Olympic year to secure a ranking sufficient for qualification for the Los Angeles Paralympic Games.
