Natalia Oreiro reflects on motherhood and her role as Gilda

Argentine actress Natalia Oreiro has shared reflections on her personal life, motherhood, and her professional connection to the late singer Gilda.

In a recent interview following the premiere of the film ‘Narciso’, Oreiro discussed her long-term relationship with Ricardo Mollo. Approaching 25 years of marriage, she emphasized the importance of autonomy in relationships, stating that individuals should not remain in partnerships out of obligation. She noted that economic independence allows women the freedom to choose their partners based on desire rather than necessity. Regarding family, she remarked, “The only love for a lifetime is that of children.”

Oreiro also reflected on her portrayal of the iconic singer Gilda, whose death occurred 30 years ago. The actress expressed a deep identification with Gilda’s life story, describing it as a universal tale of effort, overcoming social prejudices, and the pursuit of dreams.
