Natalia Silva eyes historic Brazilian sweep of UFC women's titles

Natalia Silva believes Brazil could achieve a historic milestone by holding all three UFC women's championships simultaneously before 2027. Silva is set to compete against Wang Cong in Salt Lake City for the vacant flyweight title, which was relinquished by Valentina Shevchenko due to injury.

Silva, who holds an 8-0 record in the UFC after defeating former champions Jessica Andrade, Alexa Grasso, and Rose Namajunas, prepared for the bout by training in Mexico to adjust to high altitude. She noted that a sweep would be a ‘historic moment for women's and Brazilian MMA.’

For Brazil to hold all three belts, Silva must win her upcoming fight, Mackenzie Dern must retain her current title, and Amanda Nunes must defeat champion Kayla Harrison at UFC 334 in New York on November 14.
