Natalie Cassidy and Jack Ryder reunite for National Rail campaign
EastEnders actors Natalie Cassidy and Jack Ryder have reunited for a National Rail campaign titled ‘Proper Catch-Up Carriage’. The two actors, who played love interests Sonia Jackson and Jamie Mitchell, had not shared the screen in nearly 24 years.
The campaign aims to encourage meaningful conversations between travelers, addressing research suggesting people struggle to find time for deep connections or face distractions like mobile phones. The initiative features conversation-starter dice, which will be available on National Rail trains on 2 and 3 October, providing prompts to help passengers engage in more substantive dialogue.
