Natalie Imbruglia to release seventh studio album ‘Algorithm’

Singer-songwriter Natalie Imbruglia is set to release her seventh studio album, titled ‘Algorithm’, on September 4 through her own independent label, Landgirl Records. The project marks a creative shift for the Australian-British artist, moving toward a contemporary blend of pop, synth-pop, electronica, and dance music, drawing influences from acts like Depeche Mode and Eurythmics.

Imbruglia has taken a highly active role in the production of this album, collaborating with various producers and songwriters including Fraser T Smith and Gary Lightbody. The tracklist includes songs such as ‘Upside Down’, ‘Catastrophe’, and ‘Just Drive’.

Reflecting on her career, the 51-year-old artist has discussed the complexities of her journey from early fame on the series ‘Neighbours’ to international stardom with the hit ‘Torn’. She has also shared personal insights regarding her transition into motherhood and her decision to pursue music as an independent artist.
