Natalie Imbruglia Releases Album “Algorithm” and New Single “Just Drive”

Australian singer‑songwriter Natalie Imbruglia is set to issue her seventh studio album, Algorithm, on 4 September via Landgirl Records. Ahead of the album launch she has rolled out three singles: the title track “Algorithm”, the earlier “Upside Down”, and the most recent “Just Drive”. “Just Drive” is a three‑minute techno‑pop song built on 80s‑style synths that reflects Imbruglia’s personal heartbreak, while “Algorithm” moves toward darker, industrial‑leaning electronic production. The title track was co‑written and produced with British duo MyRiot and explores themes such as doom‑scrolling and the growing impact of technology on mental wellbeing. Both releases mark a stylistic shift for the Australian artist toward more experimental electronic sounds while retaining her melodic sensibility.
