Natasha Kinney Dies After ATV Crash While Avoiding Porcupine in Upstate New York

New York State Police reported that 34‑year‑old Natasha R. Kinney of Cincinnatus, New York, was riding an ATV on Stramba Road in the town of Freetown on the night of July 7, 2026. She swerved to avoid a porcupine in the roadway, causing the vehicle to overturn and roll into a ditch.

Kinney was air‑lifted to SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse with serious injuries. She succumbed to those injuries on July 26, 2026, about 20 days after the crash. Police confirmed her death in a press release.
