Nate Wiggins carted off Baltimore Ravens practice with leg injury

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Nate Wiggins was carted off the field during Tuesday’s training camp practice after sustaining an apparent injury to his left leg or knee. The incident occurred approximately one hour into the session during one-on-one drills, when Wiggins’ feet became tangled with rookie wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane on a go route.

Wiggins, a 2024 first-round draft pick, was unable to put weight on his left leg and required assistance from trainers to enter the team facility. While initial reports expressed concern regarding the severity of the injury, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport later reported that there was “no structural damage” for Wiggins, providing a measure of relief to the organization.

Ravens head coach Jesse Minter expressed optimism following the practice, stating, “I think there’s optimism. But again, we’ll look at it, see where it’s at.” The team is awaiting further evaluation to determine a diagnosis and potential timetable for his return. Wiggins is considered a cornerstone of the Ravens' secondary, having started all 17 games last season.
