Nathalie Belizaire, a 29-year-old resident of North Miami Beach, Florida, has been arrested on charges of four counts of child neglect. Investigators allege that Belizaire left her four children unsupervised in their apartment for three days while she departed on a cruise to the Bahamas aboard the Carnival Conquest on September 25.

The children, aged two months, two years, seven, and nine, were discovered by authorities after the father of the infant alerted 911. He had reportedly seen a WhatsApp post suggesting Belizaire had purchased cruise tickets. Upon entering the residence, police and firefighters found the children hiding together in a bathroom.

While Belizaire had reportedly told family members the children would be staying with their great-grandmother, investigators confirmed the children never arrived at her home. Belizaire's attorney has denied the allegations.
