Nathalie Peña-Comas releases Mexican music tribute EP

Dominican soprano Nathalie Peña-Comas has released “Quinto Elemento: Tierra”, a five-track EP that pays tribute to Mexican musical heritage. The production blends her classical training with jazz, popular rhythms, and Hispanic American folklore.

The project was produced and arranged by Mexican multi-instrumentalist Enrique Martínez, known for his work with artists such as Julio Iglesias and Marco Antonio Solís, as well as film soundtracks like Disney-Pixar’s “Coco”.

This release marks the beginning of a series of musical productions inspired by the elements of nature. Peña-Comas stated the project aims to reconnect with human essence in the age of artificial intelligence. The EP serves as a precursor to her first solo concert at the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito, scheduled for April 7, 2027.
