Nathan De Cat to join Hoffenheim from Anderlecht for a fee under €27 million

Seventeen‑year‑old Belgian midfielder Nathan De Cat is expected to leave RSC Anderlecht this summer for a move to German Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Anderlecht, whose contract with De Cat runs until mid‑2027, has been trying to secure a renewal but is preparing to sell to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

Hoffenheim have reportedly made a bid of around €15.5 million, with the clubs negotiating a possible final price not exceeding €25‑27 million, which is close to the player’s Transfermarkt valuation of €27 million. The transfer would become one of Anderlecht’s largest sales and provide a substantial financial boost for the Belgian club. De Cat’s supporters are divided, but the move is seen as a strong step for his development, offering regular Bundesliga action and Europa League exposure.

Other interested clubs, including German sides Bayern München, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and French club Paris FC, have shown interest, but Hoffenheim appears set to secure the deal.
