Nathan Fillion to reprise Guy Gardner in DCU's Mister Miracle animated series

Nathan Fillion will reprise his role as Guy Gardner in the upcoming DC Studios adult animated series, Mister Miracle. This move connects the character across different corners of the DC Universe (DCU), following Fillion’s live-action appearances in Superman and Peacemaker Season 2, as well as his upcoming role in the HBO series Lanterns.

Developed by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios, the series is based on the comic books by Tom King and Mitch Gerads. The plot centers on Scott Free, the legendary escape artist known as Mister Miracle, and his wife, Big Barda. Their lives on Earth are disrupted by an escalating war between the planets Apocalypse and New Genesis, compounded by the threat of Darkseid obtaining the Anti-Life Equation.

Comic creator Tom King expressed enthusiasm for Fillion’s involvement, noting that the actor’s over-the-top energy fits the cosmic insanity of the series. While the full voice cast has not yet been announced, the project remains in active development.
