Nathan Ngoy to return to Sclessin with Belgium national team

Lille defender Nathan Ngoy will return to Sclessin Stadium on October 2 for a Nations League match between Belgium and Turkey. The 23-year-old, who previously played for Standard Liège, expressed significant excitement regarding the venue, noting he was unaware of the match location until recently.

Ngoy has been called up by new Belgium head coach Mark van Bommel for a series of Nations League fixtures against Italy, France (twice), and Turkey. Having appeared in four matches during the 2026 World Cup, Ngoy faces strong competition for a starting central defensive role from players such as Arthur Theate, Koni De Winter, and Brandon Mechele.
