Nathan Sussex joins Coronation Street in murder investigation role

Actor Nathan Sussex has joined the cast of Coronation Street, playing the character Richie Parkinson. Sussex, who previously won TV Villain of the Year for his role in Hollyoaks, described the experience of working on the iconic set as emotional, calling the soap a ‘national institution’.

His character is the cousin of Tim Metcalfe and is central to an unfolding murder investigation. As part of the storyline, Tim and his wife Sally will take in Richie’s daughter.
