Nathaniel Brown faces setbacks at FC Bayern and with Germany

Nathaniel Brown, the 23-year-old left-back for FC Bayern München, is facing recent setbacks in both club and international play. After a high-profile €50 million transfer to Bayern, Brown has struggled to maintain his position, facing competition from Alphonso Davies.

His recent performances with the German national team under coach Jürgen Klopp have also drawn scrutiny. Following disappointing showings in matches against the Netherlands and Greece—where he struggled with defensive positioning and lost individual duels against opponents like Cody Gakpo—Brown has departed from the national squad. This leaves openings for players such as David Raum and Maximilian Mittelstädt in upcoming international fixtures.
