Homero Pettinato summoned to testify after death threat incident

Claudio Hernán Di Carlo, known online as ‘Hernán Bloquero’, has been summoned for questioning regarding allegations of death threats against broadcaster Homero Pettinato. The incident occurred at the OLGA streaming studio in Palermo, where Di Carlo allegedly made a throat-slitting gesture toward Pettinato during a live broadcast.

Pettinato reported that the harassment, which includes intimidating messages such as ‘I am going to kill you’, has been ongoing and is linked to a pathological obsession with his ex-partner, influencer Sofía Gonet. Gonet has stated she has faced similar harassment and stalking for approximately ten years.

Di Carlo, a resident of Junín, has defended his actions by claiming his behavior stemmed from a dispute over Pettinato’s comedic legacy rather than obsession. However, witnesses and acquaintances have provided details regarding his history, including past psychiatric institutionalization. Pettinato has since been provided with a panic button and police protection.
