National Alliance ready to join Kulbergs government

The National Alliance (NA) has expressed its readiness to continue working within the government led by United List (AS) Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs. Interior Minister Jānis Dombrava stated that there are very good opportunities to form a government similar to the previous one, noting that the NA's election results remained stable.

Dombrava indicated that the NA sees potential for cooperation with the United List and New Unity (JV), as these parties share national-conservative views. However, he noted that cooperation with other political forces, such as Latvia First or the Progressives, would be extremely difficult or impossible due to ideological differences, specifically regarding state language in education.

The party is currently not insisting on holding specific ministerial positions but is waiting to engage in discussions to determine how to proceed following the Saeima elections.
