National Ambulance Service corrects post after patient's death

The National Ambulance Service (OMSZ) issued a social media post regarding a successful resuscitation of a man in Pest County, which was later revealed to be inaccurate. The service initially reported that a man in his 40s had been stabilized and handed over to hospital staff with maintained circulation following emergency interventions.

However, the man's wife commented on the post, stating that her husband had actually passed away on September 6 and that his funeral was being held on the day of the post. She noted that the resuscitation efforts had occurred too late.

Following this clarification, the National Ambulance Service modified the original post to remove congratulations to the medical team and well-wishes for the patient's recovery. The service updated the text to state that the post was modified for mourning purposes and expressed condolences to the family.
