National Assembly delegations supervise development programs in Lang Son
Delegations from the National Assembly of Vietnam, including Standing Vice Chairman Do Van Chien and Chairman of the Ethnic Council Lam Van Man, conducted working sessions in Lang Son province to supervise the implementation of Resolution No. 257/2025/QH15.
The supervision focuses on national target programs for rural development, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2026-2030 period. Reports from Lang Son indicate that between 2021 and 2025, these programs contributed to a 1.39-fold increase in rural income compared to 2020 and an average annual reduction in multidimensional poverty of 3.7%.
Regarding budget disbursement, Lang Son reported that as of September 8, the value of disbursed funds for the 2021-2025 period (extending into 2026) reached 228.783 billion VND. The province aims to complete the disbursement of all allocated funds by the end of 2026. Local officials in areas such as Chien Thang commune have also been working to consolidate steering committees to improve the efficiency of these national programs.
