National Association of Rugby Clubs announces 2026/2027 strategic program

The National Association of Rugby Clubs (ANCR) has unveiled its strategic program for the 2026/2027 season. Under the presidency of Miguel Vadillo, the association aims to enhance benefits for its members through improved contracting conditions, access to professional resources, and increased collective capacity to promote club rugby.

A key component of the proposal is the centralization of purchasing to group club needs and negotiate preferential terms with suppliers. The plan also includes training for executives and the development of shared services focusing on communication, photography, design, and digital content.

The initiative seeks to revitalize the association's relevance within the Spanish rugby landscape. This comes amid a period of improved relations between the ANCR and the Spanish Rugby Federation (FER), led by Juan Carlos Martín Hansen, following years of friction between the clubs and the federation.
