National Bank of Canada discloses cryptocurrency ETF holdings

National Bank of Canada has disclosed holdings in several cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETFs) in its latest SEC Form 13F filing. The bank’s reported cryptocurrency exposure totals approximately $6.98 million.

Key holdings include $5.31 million in the ProShares Bitcoin ETF, consisting of 42,321 shares, and approximately $1.09 million in the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund. The bank also holds positions in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ETF and the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF, valued at roughly $150,000 and $100,000 respectively. Additionally, the bank reported 3,848 shares in the Bitwise XRP ETF, valued at about $330,000.

These disclosures follow reports from Grayscale regarding significant XRP sales, noting that the Grayscale XRP Trust ETF sold approximately $180.78 million worth of XRP in the first half of 2026 to satisfy investor redemptions.
