National Bank of Greece launches investment features via Next app
National Bank of Greece has introduced a new “Investments” section within its Next by NBG mobile application. Through a partnership with Wealthyhood Europe AEPEY, users can now access international stocks and ETFs with a minimum investment of 1 euro.
The platform allows for fractional share purchases, meaning users can buy portions of stocks rather than full shares. The service provides access to over 2,400 stocks, primarily listed on the NYSE and NASDAQ, and more than 940 ETFs from major providers including BlackRock/iShares, Amundi, Xtrackers, SPDR, Vanguard, and Invesco.
Key features include automated monthly investment scheduling, real-time portfolio tracking, and educational resources such as beginner guides and glossaries. For users not ready for direct market exposure, the app offers a BlackRock Money Market Fund in euros, which follows market interest rates without purchase or sale commissions.
