National Bank of Pakistan partners with Habib University Foundation

The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and the Habib University Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand access to higher education for talented young women across Pakistan.

Under this partnership, NBP will fund the four-year undergraduate academic journeys of 13 female students. The initiative prioritizes candidates from rural and underserved areas to help overcome financial and geographical barriers to university studies. The program aims to empower these women by providing the skills necessary to pursue professional careers and contribute to their communities.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at the Habib University campus in Karachi. Naved A. Khan, Chairman of the Board of Directors at NBP, stated that the partnership reflects the bank's commitment to supporting academic ambitions and creating opportunities through quality education.
