National Book Lovers Day 2026: Bookstore Discounts and Freebies

Publishers and retailers are marking National Book Lovers Day on August 9 with a range of promotions across the United States. Penguin Random House will give away limited‑edition "Book Lover" stickers at nearly 500 independent bookstores, while Barnes & Noble is offering 15% off select paperbacks and up to 30% off certain hardcovers.
