National Citizen Bank approved to increase charter capital by 33,000 billion VND

The State Bank of Vietnam has approved a plan for National Citizen Bank (NCB) to increase its charter capital by a maximum of 33,000 billion VND. This will be achieved through a private share issuance to professional securities investors.

NCB intends to issue 3.3 billion additional shares at an offering price of 10,000 VND per share. If successful, the bank's charter capital is expected to rise to nearly 62,280 billion VND, representing a 112.7% increase from its current level. This move would place NCB among the top 10 banks with the largest charter capital in Vietnam and mark its fifth consecutive capital increase between 2021 and 2027.
