National Cybersecurity Agency joins Global Anti-Scam Alliance

The National Cybersecurity Agency (MKA), under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, has joined the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA). This international organization focuses on combating online fraud and reducing financial and psychological harm in the digital environment.

Through this membership, the MKA will gain access to research and analytical materials regarding global trends in online scams, including new attack methods, AI-based fraud schemes, social engineering tactics, and financial fraud mechanisms. The agency will also participate in GASA working groups to contribute to information exchange and joint initiatives for preventing online fraud.

The partnership aims to expand international cooperation and allow Azerbaijan to share its expertise in cybersecurity with a global audience. It also provides opportunities for the MKA to strengthen connections with government agencies, the banking sector, telecommunications operators, technology platforms, and cybersecurity companies worldwide.
