National Democratic Congress announces election schedules and agent mobilization

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has initiated several internal organizational processes. The party has directed state and local government area chairmen to begin mobilizing and harmonizing polling agents for the upcoming 2027 general elections. Chairmen have been given two weeks to submit final lists for leadership approval, with distinct sets of agents being organized for National Assembly elections and for governorship and state House of Assembly elections.

Additionally, the NDC has announced the schedule for its 2026 constituency executive elections. Nominations are set to open on September 15, 2026, with the nomination window closing on September 17. The election process includes candidate vetting in late September and the actual constituency elections scheduled for October 24 and 25, 2026. To participate, aspirants and endorsers must be members in good standing with membership dues paid for the previous four years.
