National Directorate of Employment begins RHEI 3 revalidation in Oyo

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has launched an orientation and revalidation exercise for beneficiaries of the RHEI 3 programme across the three senatorial districts of Oyo State. The initiative aims to confirm the eligibility of selected candidates and ensure that resources and training reach the intended individuals.

During the exercise, beneficiaries received guidance on programme expectations, resource management, and the long-term goals of fostering self-reliance. The NDE, which operates under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, utilizes the RHEI 3 programme to provide vocational training and micro-credit facilities to reduce youth unemployment and stimulate grassroots economic activity.

NDE Director-General Silas Ali Agara, represented by Oyo State Coordinator Oke Paul Adegboye, stated that the exercise is essential for effective programme implementation. Officials from various departments, including Small Scale Enterprises and Vocational Skills Development, emphasized the importance of discipline and commitment to ensure participants gain sustainable livelihoods through the provided skills and support.
