National Economics University expels 43 students
National Economics University has announced academic warnings and expulsions for a group of regular undergraduate students during its first review period of 2026. The university issued academic warnings to 139 students due to poor academic performance or failure to maintain progress.
Additionally, the institution has expelled 43 students. This group includes 30 students who took leave without a valid reason and 13 students who exceeded the maximum number of allowed academic warnings. Students listed in the review are requested to verify their information and provide feedback by 5:00 PM on October 11 before official decisions are finalized.
The university follows specific regulations regarding student discipline and academic standing, including Circular 56/2026/TT-BGDĐT. Under these rules, expulsion may occur due to serious violations or failing to meet academic requirements, such as exceeding the maximum study duration or failing to meet cumulative grade point average thresholds for credit-based or annual systems.
