National Entrepreneurship Olympiad attracts 1.2 million students

The first National Entrepreneurship Olympiad (ONE) has gathered 1,230,521 students across Brazil, exceeding the federal government's initial goal of 1 million registrants. The initiative involves 9,509 schools from 2,454 municipalities, targeting high school students in their first through third years.

Promoted by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship in partnership with the Federal University of Maranhão and supported by the Federal University of Piauí, the competition consists of three elimination stages. Following an initial online assessment, the top 100,000 performers will advance to a second evaluation on October 9. The top 100 students will then proceed to a third phase in November, featuring a virtual bootcamp.

The process will culminate in the selection of 27 state champions to be honored in Brasília in December. In January 2027, finalists and their teachers will participate in a four-day technical immersion in São Paulo, while winning public schools will receive technological kits.
