National FFA Organization reaches record 1 million student members
The National FFA Organization has reached a milestone of 1,053,847 student members for the 2025-2026 school year, representing a 1.1% increase from the previous year. The organization operates through 9,591 active student chapters across all 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
In Montana, the organization maintains over 7,000 members across 109 chapters. Other regional figures include North Dakota with over 7,500 members in 95 chapters, South Dakota with 6,500 members in 113 chapters, and Wyoming with 4,600 members in 64 chapters.
Scott Stump, CEO of the National FFA Organization, stated that the growth reflects students seeking opportunities to build meaningful skills and prepare for their futures through agricultural education.
