National Galleries of Scotland seeks manager for major art project

The National Galleries of Scotland is seeking a Senior Project Manager for ‘The Art Works’, a major capital project and investment in the country’s national art collection. Located in North Edinburgh as part of the Granton Waterfront development, the project aims to create a new, free-to-visit facility to house more than 130,000 works of art.

Designed according to Passivhaus principles, the project is expected to provide environmental, social, and economic benefits to the region. Having completed RIBA Stage 4, the initiative is moving into a critical phase, with enabling works scheduled to begin before the end of 2026 and the appointment of a main contractor for construction following that.
