National Gallery of Art announces 10th anniversary of National Gallery Nights

The National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., has announced the 10th anniversary of its National Gallery Nights series. The program will run from September through November 2026, featuring free after-hours cultural events in the museum's East Wing from 18:00 to 21:00.

Each event takes place on the second Thursday of the month. Admission is free, though attendees must secure tickets through a lottery system held during the preceding Monday to Thursday. The series includes themed evenings such as 'American Icons' on September 10, which highlights the 'American Icon: The US Flag in Art' exhibition, and 'Monster Mash' on October 8, featuring the band Oh He Dead.

The season concludes on November 12 with a night themed 'Gratitude'. The events combine art, music, and performance with opportunities for guests to engage in creative activities.
