National Geographic identifies best compact travel cameras

National Geographic’s photo engineering team, including Tom O’Brien and Eric Flynn, has released a guide selecting the best compact digital cameras for travel. After testing twenty-six cameras over four months, the team evaluated models based on size, ease of use, response times, and video capabilities.

The selection highlights the Fujifilm X-T50 and X-E5 as top choices for most travelers. These models feature the 40.2 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor and the X-Processor, balancing image quality with portability and ease of use.
