National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions launches European river voyages

National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions has launched its first European river expedition, utilizing the state-of-the-art ship Connect. The inaugural voyages focus on the waterways of Holland and Belgium, including Amsterdam’s canals and historic cities such as Antwerp and Delft.

The company plans to expand its European presence with a Rhine River itinerary in September 2026, visiting locations such as Mainz, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Strasbourg, and Colmar. Additionally, in 2027, the brand will introduce Christmas market cruises using a new vessel, Evolve, which is a twin to the Connect.
