National Geographic Traveler names winners of Cuda Polski 2026
National Geographic Traveler has announced the winners of the ‘Cuda Polski 2026’ (Wonders of Poland 2026) plebiscite. Following a six-week voting period in which readers cast over 220,000 votes, 16 locations were selected as the premier tourist destinations, with one winner representing each of Poland's 16 voivodeships.
In the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region, Mysia Wieża and Jezioro Gopło in Kruszwica secured the title, winning against other regional nominees such as the salt graduation towers in Ciechocinek and the House of Toruń Legends. Piotr Całbecki, the Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, noted that the recognition highlights the region's historical and natural heritage.
Other winners across the country include Arboretum Wojsławice in Lower Silesia, the Elbląg Canal in Warmia-Masuria, the Eagle Nests Trail in Silesia, and the Suwałki Lake District in Podlaskie. The initiative aims to promote local tourism and encourage travelers to explore less conventional destinations within Poland.
