National Highway 26 faces heavy congestion due to durian season

Heavy traffic congestion is occurring on National Highway 26 in Dak Lak due to a sudden surge in vehicles transporting durians. During the peak season, vehicle volume on the route has increased by approximately 300% to 400%.

To alleviate pressure, the Dak Lak Traffic Police have implemented traffic diversion plans. Passenger cars and trucks weighing under 5 tons are being advised to use alternative routes between Km119 and Km148. Specifically, vehicles traveling from Ninh Hoa toward Buon Ma Thuot can turn right at the intersection in Ea Phe commune to connect with National Highway 14 and the Ho Chi Minh Road.
