National Institute of Homoeopathy celebrates 50 years in Kolkata

The National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH) in Kolkata has marked its Golden Jubilee, celebrating 50 years of service in homoeopathic education, research, and patient care.

To commemorate the milestone, the institute inaugurated a new Centre of Excellence and a state-of-the-art Modular Operation Theatre. These facilities are intended to enhance the institution's clinical services, academic capacity, and research infrastructure.

The event was attended by several government officials, including Prataprao Jadhav, Minister of State for Ayush and Health & Family Welfare, and Sukanta Majumdar, Union Minister of State for Education. Minister Jadhav noted that the new facilities reflect a government commitment to modernizing Ayush institutions by integrating traditional medicine with contemporary technology and advanced research.
