National Insurance Company Limited announces 500 Assistant vacancies

The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) issued a recruitment notification for 500 Assistant (Class III) positions. Applications are accepted online from 18 July to 7 August 2026 via the official NICL website.

Eligibility requires a graduate degree in any discipline, an age limit of 21‑30 years (with government‑specified relaxation for reserved categories), and proficiency in the regional language of the state or union territory where the candidate applies. Application fees are waived for SC, ST, PwBD and ex‑servicemen; other candidates must pay ₹850.

The selection process comprises two online exams: Phase I on 27 August 2026 and Phase II on 30 October 2026, followed by a regional language test. The pay scale ranges from ₹36,290 to ₹80,615 per month, with approximate total monthly emoluments of around ₹63,000 in metropolitan centres.

State‑wise vacancy distribution lists Maharashtra (57), Tamil Nadu (49), West Bengal (46), Rajasthan (36), Kerala (35), Gujarat (34), Uttar Pradesh (24), Delhi (20) and Bihar (12). Successful candidates will be appointed across various states and union territories.
