National Judicial Institute warns staff against bribery and leaking judgments
Justice Babatunde Adejumo, Administrator of the National Judicial Institute, has issued a warning to court registrars, bailiffs, and judicial support staff regarding professional misconduct. During a case management workshop, Adejumo emphasized that the integrity of the judiciary relies on the discipline and professionalism of administrative personnel.
He warned that unethical practices, including leaking judgments and accepting bribes, would result in legal consequences. Adejumo noted that effective case management, accurate record-keeping, and efficient registry operations are essential to maintaining public perception and ensuring the timely delivery of justice.
