National Knowledge Center for Cycling Promotion launches high school project

The National Knowledge Center for Cycling Promotion has launched a new project aimed at increasing bicycle usage among high school students. In collaboration with external advisors, the center will test various initiatives at different gymnasiums to identify what motivates young people to choose cycling.

According to the Danish Road Directorate, the project moves beyond simply informing youth about the benefits of cycling. Instead, the initiatives focus on behavior, community, and personal experience. Minister for Urban Affairs, Land and Transport Signe Munk stated that the center plays a vital role in gathering knowledge and testing solutions to share effective practices.
