National Lottery seeks £1M winner in Richmond upon Thames

The National Lottery is searching for a mystery winner in the London Borough of Richmond who has yet to claim a £1 million prize. The winning ticket was purchased for the Lotto draw held on Wednesday, 19 August, where the player matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball.

The winning numbers were 4, 8, 10, 17, 23, and 28, with a Bonus Ball of 16. While physical ticket holders have until 15 February 2027 to claim the prize, a critical deadline applies to those who may have lost their ticket. Written claims for lost tickets must be submitted to the lottery operator, Allwyn, by Friday, 18 September.

Toby Moxham, head of winners' services at Allwyn, has urged the public to check their old tickets and speak with friends, family, and neighbors to help locate the winner. If the prize remains unclaimed after the 180-day period, the funds will be allocated to National Lottery-funded community and charitable projects across the UK.
