The National Media Commission (NMC) has reconstituted the boards of four state-owned media organisations in Ghana: the Graphic Communications Group Ltd (GCGL), the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), the Ghana News Agency (GNA), and the New Times Corporation.

According to an NMC statement, the appointments were made in consultation with the President, following Article 168 of the Constitution and the National Media Commission Act, 1993. The new leadership includes:

• Prof. Samuel Kweku Hayford as Chairman of the GCGL board. • Francis Mills Robertson as Chairman of the GBC board. • Dr. Kwame Akuffo Anoff-Ntow as Chairman of the GNA board. • Dr. Charity Binka as Chair of the New Times Corporation board.

The managing directors of each respective organisation will also serve as members of their boards. The GNA, established in 1957, serves as the national wire service providing multimedia content across various sectors including politics, business, and health.
