National Night Out celebrations scheduled in Morgantown, WV and Fountain Inn, SC

Morgantown, West Virginia will host its inaugural National Night Out on August 5 at Krepps Park. The free family event, organized by Special Projects Coordinator Shannon Davis, will feature police K‑9 demonstrations, fire‑department drone displays, a joint police‑fire dive‑team showcase in the park pool, self‑defense lessons, and a simulated intoxication experience provided by the sheriff’s department.

Fountain Inn, South Carolina plans its National Night Out for August 4, 2026 at The Pavilion at Commerce Park. Hosted by the Fountain Inn Police Department, the evening will include live K‑9 demos, outdoor laser tag, face painting, police vehicle displays, and participation from the local fire department, Public Works, Parks & Recreation, and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office. Both events aim to strengthen police‑community relationships and promote public safety through interactive activities and demonstrations.
