National Night Out Community Events in Rockland County, NY and Luna County, NM

On Thursday, Clover Stadium in Rockland County, New York hosted the eighth annual National Night Out, sponsored by Polaris Healthcare, with elected officials including Congressman Mike Lawler, County Executive Ed Day, and many first‑responder agencies. The free evening featured emergency vehicles, K‑9 demonstrations, music, bounce houses and an on‑field ceremony honoring local responders.

Earlier in the week, Luna County, New Mexico held its National Night Out at the Courthouse Park. Organized with the Luna County Sheriff’s Office, Deming Police and Fire Departments, the event offered games, dunk tanks, and opportunities for families to meet officers and explore emergency equipment. Both gatherings aimed to strengthen police‑community partnerships and promote crime‑prevention awareness.
