National Night Out scheduled Aug 4, 2026 in Red Oak, IA and Linton, IN

Two community policing events will take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 as part of the annual National Night Out. The Red Oak Police Department in Iowa will host its 10th annual gathering from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fountain Square Park, offering free food, drinks, entertainment and booth space for local businesses and service clubs. Greene County in Indiana will hold its event from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Linton Humphreys Park, featuring Touch‑a‑Truck displays, equipment exhibitions, games, giveaways and crime‑prevention resources.
