National People's Party revamps Nagaland unit, appoints new legislative leader

National People's Party (NPP) president Conrad K. Sangma appointed A. Nyamnyei Konyak, MLA, as the leader of the NPP Legislature Party in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, relieving former leader Nuklutoshi. In the same order, Sangma constituted a five‑member interim state committee for the party’s Nagaland unit, comprising Chuba Jamir, James Vizo, Audrey Jamir, Eje Wangnyu Konyak and Er. H. Khumtimong Sangtam of the National People’s Youth Front. The interim committee will manage party affairs and assist the national working president until a new state president is selected and appointed.
