National Rally of Liberty unveils new electoral program in Morocco
Mohamed Chouki, leader of the National Rally of Liberty (RNI), has unveiled the party’s new electoral program under the slogan “Dignity and Opportunities for All” ahead of the upcoming legislative elections on September 23.
Chouki emphasized a platform built on a “culture of achievement and inclusion,” focusing on social and economic priorities such as healthcare coverage, direct social support, and protecting the purchasing power of Moroccan families. A key commitment in the new program is the proposal to raise the minimum wage to 5,000 dirhams.
During campaign events in M'rirt and Tetouan, Chouki highlighted the government's track record, noting significant expansions in social protection. He reported that healthcare coverage beneficiaries increased from approximately 9 million to over 32 million, including 10 million people exempt from financial contributions.
Additional achievements cited include the development of the “Pioneer Schools” initiative, the creation of over 2,000 companies in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, and the opening of 36 hospitals, with 50 more under construction. The party aims to continue supporting the middle class and improving public services in water, energy, education, and health.
