National Resistance Park in Thessaloniki designated historical site
The National Resistance Park in the Neapoli-Sykies municipality of Thessaloniki has been officially designated as a historical site. This decision was made by the Minister of Culture, Lina Mendoni, following a unanimous opinion from the Central Council of Modern Monuments.
The designation follows the discovery of mass graves and human remains during renovation works at the park.
